How to get to Bilbao from the airport (and vice versa)

The bus line A3247 offers a direct connection from the airport to the city center for approximately 1€45. The ticket can be bought at the driver in the bus.

If you want to go to the hotel Abando, you have to get out of the bus at the first stop “Alameda Recalde, 14”. (The bus goes into a tunnel and then crosses a bridge with the Guggenheim museum on your right. The bus stop is approximately a hundred meters after the bridge.)

Schedules:
  • From the airport to Bilbao : every 20 minutes from 6:00 until 00:00.
  • From Bilbao to the airport : every 20 minutes from 5:20 until 22:00.
    (The schedule is given from the first station. The bus goes out from the bus stop “Alameda Recalde, 11” approximately 10 minutes after it lefts the first station.)
